Who
Spruvly is built by Emira Studio OÜ, a one-person Estonian company. The founder writes the code, the copy, and the cold emails. No design agency, no marketing team, no growth consultants. Everything you read on this site, every line of code, every email — same person. This matters because Spruvly is opinionated. The brand says no to star ratings, no to bidding, no to marketplace race-to-bottom — and those choices stay consistent because one mind holds them.
Why
Three observations led to building Spruvly: 1. AI rewrote what counts as work. Shipping a Twilio voice agent + Claude function-calling + n8n pipeline isn't "AI engineering" in any traditional taxonomy. The people doing it don't fit on LinkedIn, don't survive Upwork's race-to-bottom, and can't get past Toptal's old-school credential gates. 2. The credential economy is sclerotic. A 22-year-old building production voice agents is more useful to a vet clinic than someone with a CS degree from 2008. But the platforms haven't caught up. 3. There's nothing between "idea in a notebook" and "company on AngelList." Founders with half-built bets have nowhere to publish, get peer feedback, find co-builders, or signal real interest from backers. The Bank of Ideas is our answer.
Where we are right now
As of May 2026: live MVP. Three primary surfaces (Builders, Briefs, Projects). AI matcher at /find. Bank of Ideas / AI incubator at /projects. Stripe wired for PRO subscriptions, boosts, convertible pledges, and brief payments. Sponsor pool model in place — first AI-tool partner outbound active. EU-hosted (Hetzner Helsinki). GDPR-clean. 0% commission on briefs until 2027-01-01 — a launch promise we plan to keep.
Team
One person right now. We'll bring on help when the work justifies it, not before. If you want to be that help — write to [email protected] with what you'd build first.
What's next
The 90-day plan is published: see LAUNCH_PLAYBOOK on the repo. Shortest version: 50 published cases by D90, first sponsor partner signed, first 10 PRO subscribers, real money flowing on Spruvly to real people building real things.
