Problem

New customers signed up and disappeared. Welcome email went unread, no kickoff scheduled, churn started in week 1 instead of week 8.

Flow

Stripe webhook → check plan tier → create Notion page from template → send Resend email → schedule day-3 Slack check via wait node.

Per new paid signup, ~15-25/week

What I built

  • Stripe checkout.session.completed webhook → n8n entry point
  • Auto-created per-customer Notion onboarding page with checklist
  • Welcome email via Resend with kickoff Calendly link prefilled
  • Day-3 nudge: if Calendly still empty, Slack ping to CSM

Limits

  • Plan-tier-gated — only triggers for paid plans, not free trials
  • Calendly link is generic; per-CSM round-robin would need an upgrade
