Paying builders

Stripe Checkout. Direct to builder. 0% Spruvly commission until 2027.

Flow

  1. You accept a proposal.
  2. Spruvly opens Stripe Checkout for the agreed total.
  3. You pay with card, SEPA, or any method Stripe supports.
  4. Stripe Connect routes the money to the builder's connected account.
  5. You get a receipt with VAT (where applicable, automatic via Stripe Tax).

VAT

Stripe Tax handles EU VAT automatically: B2B with valid VAT ID = reverse charge (no VAT added); B2C in EU = VAT at buyer country rate; non-EU = 0%. Spruvly is registered under EU OSS scheme (Estonia). Invoices auto-generated.

Stripe processor fees

~2.9% + €0.25 per transaction (cards) or similar for other methods. Passed through transparently on the invoice. Stripe is the merchant-of-record for the card payment.

0% Spruvly commission

Until 2027-01-01, Spruvly takes zero on every brief payment. After that — 10%. See Fees.

What if it goes wrong?

Deliverable not as promised — see Refunds + disputes. Builder didn't deliver — same. Spruvly does not mediate, but Stripe's standard chargeback / refund process is available between you and the builder.
