Stripe Connect
We use Stripe Connect Express to move money from companies and sponsors to builders. You set up your payout account once; Stripe handles KYC, tax, and bank transfers.
Why Stripe Connect

Setting up your account (builders + founders)
- Go to Settings → Payments
- Click “Set up payouts” — opens a Stripe-hosted onboarding flow
- Provide ID, address, bank details (Stripe asks only what your country requires)
- Return to Spruvly — you're ready to receive payments
Companies + sponsors
You don't need a Connect account — you pay via Stripe Checkout. We move funds to the builder's connected account on release.
Payout timing
- Released funds reach your Stripe balance immediately
- Stripe pays out on a rolling schedule (typically 2-7 days, country-dependent)
- Subject to Stripe's standard hold for first transactions
